10% of net profit goes to the World Wildlife Fund. We publish a giving report every quarter — the first covers October through December 2026 and posts in early January 2027. Maison Sturges is digital-only by design: no shipping, no packaging waste, no warehouse — just the photograph and the wall it ends up on.
These are real photographs. Where digital tools are used as finishing tools — the engraver's pass on a Field Plate, for instance — the listing says so, plainly. The raw, untouched edition is offered alongside whenever you'd rather have the photograph exactly as the field gave it.
From the Field
Maison Sturges is the studio of J.M., a wildlife biologist working in New York's Hudson Valley. The plates and prints here begin as field photographs — bears, birds, sheep on a Bellvale hillside — and are finished slowly, in small numbered drops.
